An essential upgrade package for your S/X Plaid.  

This kit finally brings high quality carbon ceramic brakes to the Plaid at a reasonable price point. The rotors are direct OEM replacements, making the upgrade simple while retaining the factory calipers.

I’ve personally tested multiple brake configurations, and this rotor and pad combination has proven to be a winning setup for both performance and value.

The system delivers stronger, more consistent braking while reducing rotating and unsprung mass by 22.4 lbs. That significant reduction in rotational mass improves acceleration and handling, making this an effective upgrade for both the drag strip and road course.

Improve 60–130 mph and 1/4 mile performance while upgrading braking capability.

Track Pack firmware is also available as an option, unlocking a 203 mph top speed while further refining suspension and ABS behavior.

Kit includes:

  • SEV StopArt 380mm front carbon ceramic rotors
  • SEV StopArt 365mm rear carbon ceramic rotors
  • Street or Street/Track pads

Additional Options:

  • MPP Master Cylinder brace - Reduces cylinder movement for improved pedal feel and response
  • Track Pack Firmware (remote installation)
    • Top speed limiter is raised to 203 mph (proper wheels, tires, etc. required) – for track use only
    • ABS calibration is refined (re-tuned modulation)
    • Suspension maps are refined
    • Model S Plakd only - Does not work on X Plaid

Track Pack Firmware requires special equipment which will be shipped to customer.  Coordination is required so equipment is returned within 2 business days after receipt.  

High-speed driving involves significant risk and should only be performed in controlled track environments. Installation of the Top Speed firmware changes the brake pedal feel. The brake pedal will have less of the factory on/off feel and increased pedal travel. Full braking performance remains available, but achieving maximum braking force requires pressing the pedal further and with more force than in the factory configuration.

Drivers should familiarize themselves with the revised brake pedal feel in a safe environment before operating the vehicle at high speeds or on a race track.
