Full product walk through and review - DragTimes YouTube video
Turn your low mileage Plaid into a monster with up to 10% more power.
Or give your middle aged Plaid the performance to outrun a brand new one.
The Very Spicy Tune Kit delivers its biggest gains where your rivals expect them the least: high speed acceleration. Above 70 mph the difference is dramatic, transforming the car into an entirely different machine during roll racing and highway pulls.
Example Gains from SirHarrold Development Vehicles:
| Vehicle | Battery | Tune | 60-130 mph (s) | 1/4 mile | Peak Power (hp) |
| 2026 S Plaid, Full Weight, New | 96% SoH, 96% SoC | Stock | 4.75 | 9.35@151.7 mph | 1070 |
| 2026 S Plaid, Full Weight, New | 96% SoH, 93% SoC | Very Spicy | 4.38 | 9.17@154.1 mph | 1186 |
| 2021 S Plaid, Full Weight, 115k miles | 82% SoH, 86% SoC | Stock | 5.26 | 989 | |
| 2021 S Plaid, Full Weight, 115k miles | 82% SoH, 88% SoC | Very Spicy | 4.79 | 1082 |
Benchmark First
Before installing any tune, benchmark your Plaid with a Dragy. Your gains should be measured against your vehicle’s current performance, not against someone else’s car.
Performance varies substantially between Plaids. A high mileage vehicle will not perform like a new one, but it can still see significant improvements. A battery with significant degradation may not be able to support the full power increase, especially during extended pulls. In those cases, the tune will deliver the maximum power your battery can safely provide. The factory BMS is not modified, and all OEM battery protections remain fully intact.
Features
Installation takes about 15 minutes start to finish. Video instructions will be provided at time of purchase.
Remove the system at any time and return the vehicle to stock.

Staging Mode with Persistent Cheetah Stance
The factory Plaid requires approximately 8 to 10 seconds to lower the front suspension and enter Cheetah Stance. Without Staging Mode, the car exits Cheetah Stance the instant both pedals are released to creep into the second staging beam. Once this happens, the entire 8 to 10 second sequence must be repeated.
The driver must either fully stage at the double bulb while waiting for Cheetah Stance, which can upset the driver in the other lane, or wait for the full sequence after the tree drops, resulting in a reaction time of approximately 7 seconds. Neither option works well in competition.
Staging Mode allows the car to enter Cheetah Stance before the second staging beam. You can then release both pedals and creep into the second bulb while the front suspension remains in Cheetah Stance.
On a Pro Tree, there is not enough time to precharge the motors after staging. The driver can launch immediately while retaining the suspension advantage of Cheetah Stance, but without motor precharge.
On a Sportsman Tree, there is enough time to briefly press the brake pedal and then the throttle to precharge the motors. Because the suspension is already lowered, the car can reenter Cheetah Stance in approximately 1.5 seconds before launching.

Power Meter with Advanced Dash and Data Viewer
This adds an additional tab to the Windows app with a more advanced performance dashboard. It captures key metrics such as horsepower, 60 to 130 mph times, and traction control status.
You can log and review advanced vehicle parameters directly on the Windows device or export the data as a CSV file for further analysis. It is a great way to compare stock versus tuned performance or review data after a race to see where the car was limited by traction.
Top Speed Unlock
A separate 203 mph Top Speed Unlock is also available for S Plaid. This not available for X Plaid.
Additional options can be added here.
Demo Videos
The comparison video uses a 2026 Plaid. Results on used Plaids will vary. Measure improvements against your own baseline.
