Think Very Spicy isn’t enough? Upgrade to THAI HOT.

The THAI HOT Race System uses a different hardware architecture than Spicy and Very Spicy, allowing for a wider power adjustment range and higher maximum power. Installation is also more involved, requiring approximately 2 hours versus approximately 15 minutes for Spicy and Very Spicy.

The Thai Hot race system works on all Tesla S and X Plaid 2021-2026.

THAI HOT is intended for hardcore racers only.  A consultation with SirHarrold is recommended before purchase.  

Very Spicy maintains a healthy safety margin. THAI HOT allows substantially more aggressive power settings, which can cause the vehicle’s pyrofuse to blow if configured too aggressively.  If you are not comfortable with this additional risk, THAI HOT is not for you. Consider Very Spicy instead.

THAI HOT is featured in the PATIENT ZERO Red SirHarrold vehicle and was recently installed in the SirHarrold Black SSPICY Plaid.

Street vs. Race Configuration

THAI HOT can be configured to perform similarly to Very Spicy during normal operation, while allowing the full THAI HOT power level to be unleashed in a closed course race setting.

Important Risk Information

THAI HOT is best suited for smooth racing surfaces. Using the higher power settings on rough or uneven pavement, including typical public roads, dramatically increases the likelihood of blowing the main pyrofuse due to rapid torque fluctuations. Use on a smooth drag strip or other smooth closed course racing surface is strongly recommended.

If you use THAI HOT at its more aggressive power levels, assume that you will eventually need to replace the pyrofuse and keep spare pyrofuses available.

Pyrofuse replacement requires exposure to high voltage components and should only be performed by someone qualified to work on high voltage vehicle systems.

If the pyrofuse activates, the vehicle will immediately lose propulsion and may come to rest in an unsafe location or create a hazardous situation. For this reason, the higher THAI HOT power levels should never be used outside of a closed course racing environment.

The Thai Hot race tuner kit uses a different hardware architecture than Spicy and Very Spicy.  The physical installation is more involved (2 hours vs. 15 minutes).  

This tuner kit is for hardcore racers only. Very Spicy leaves a healthy safety margin. THAI HOT has a wider power adjustment range which allows for higher power, but also can result in causing the car's pyro fuse to blow if configured for too high of power.   If you’re not comfortable with that, this tune isn’t for you.  Consider Very Spicy.

Important Information - The Fine Print

This product is intended for off road use only.

Built for experienced drivers operating modified high performance vehicles.

The vehicle’s battery pack should be in excellent condition to support increased power levels. Performance depends heavily on battery health, vehicle condition, and baseline performance.

Performance varies significantly between vehicles. High mileage Plaids and vehicles with battery degradation will not perform the same as newer vehicles, and maximum gains may not be achieved. Always establish a baseline before installing the tune.

Some Tesla battery packs experience cell imbalance. Significant cell imbalance can reduce power output during extended high-load operation, preventing the battery from sustaining factory power levels. Tesla's battery health test does not identify cell imbalance. This is a battery condition, not a result of the tuner. If significant cell imbalance is present, the tuner cannot compensate for it, and performance gains may be reduced or unavailable.

SirHarrold and Mulot regularly release tuner updates to maintain compatibility, and reasonable efforts will be made to restore lost functionality as quickly as possible.  Compatibility with future Tesla over the air (OTA) software updates cannot be guaranteed. Tesla updates may limit, disable, or change tuner functionality without notice.
DO NOT install a TeslaOS update without first confirming that it is compatible with your tuner. Some TeslaOS releases require an update to the tuner app and firmware before they are supported.  TeslaOS cannot be downgraded. Always verify compatibility before installing any Tesla software update. The risk of future Tesla OS incompatibility is low but I prefer to be explicit about this risk.  

Installation or use of this product may affect or void portions of the manufacturer’s warranty. SirHarrold exclusivly distributes Mulot power tuning products.  Very Spicy is only available on SirHarrold.

Brake Pedal Feel

Installing the Top Speed firmware changes the brake pedal feel.

Compared to the factory calibration, the brake pedal has a more progressive response with increased pedal travel. Maximum braking force requires additional pedal travel and greater pedal effort than the factory configuration.

Drivers should become familiar with the revised brake pedal feel in a safe environment before operating the vehicle at high speeds or on a race track.
