Your Plaid may be getting older, but it doesn’t have to perform like it.

Model S and Model X Plaids lose performance as they age. A brand new S Plaid can run 9.3 @ 150 mph in the ¼ mile and 60–130 in 4.7 seconds, but that performance drops off as the car accumulates miles. Many older Plaids are running 9.5–9.8 @ 141–148 mph with 60–130 times of 5.0–5.4 seconds. That’s the unfortunate reality of an aging Plaid.

And now that Tesla has stopped building new S and X Plaids, simply trading an aging car for a new one is no longer an option.

For many owners, that isn’t a problem. A high 9 second car is still incredibly fast and a blast to drive. But what about the drivers who want maximum performance?

The SirHarrold Youth Clinic is a comprehensive performance restoration program designed to give aging Model S and Model X Plaids a second youth.   Your vehicle will be picked up via trailer to begin the rejuvenation. 

Every vehicle receives a customized treatment plan based on its condition, battery health, current performance, and the owner’s goals.

All Youth Clinic packages begin with a tune kit configured for the vehicle. Options range from Spicy and Very Spicy to Thai Hot and full race configurations.

Several battery refresh and upgrade options are available, ranging from fresh OEM style configurations to custom high performance race batteries.

Multiple wheel, tire, and brake packages are also available, ranging from upgraded steel brakes through the OEM Tesla Track Pack. The Youth Clinic can also incorporate aesthetic rejuvenation, including the 2026 body, 2024+ Sport interior, and other available upgrades. These options are offered only as part of a Youth Clinic treatment package.

After receiving the BORN AGAIN treatment, this 2021 Plaid with 120,000 miles is now outperforming even a brand new tuned 2026 Plaid. It regained the displayed range of a new car while delivering performance well beyond what it could achieve when new.

60–130 improved from 5.26 to 4.22 seconds.

The ⅛ mile improved from 6.32 @ 114.12 mph to 5.86 @ 126.28 mph.

Tesla App range improved from 264 to 324 miles (21" app configuration).

And it did it without weight reduction. Patient Zero retains a full street interior and achieved these results on Michelin PS4S street tires with performance wheels and brakes.
