The Very Spicy Tune Kit delivers its biggest gains where your rivals expect them the least: high-speed acceleration. Expect a dramatic difference above 70 mph, making the car significantly stronger in roll racing and highway pulls. It feels like a different car.
If your Plaid has very high mileage (80k+), you may get more value from the Spicy Tune Kit, as the full gains of Very Spicy may not be realized. Even so, Very Spicy will still be quicker than Spicy.

A high-mileage Plaid will not perform the same as a new car. The tune will still provide significant gains, but those gains will start from a slower baseline. The improvement should be measured against your vehicle's current performance, not the performance of a brand-new Plaid.
